Merrifield’s college debaters travelled to Makhanda to take part in the DSG Debating Festival. We are very proud of our debaters, who achieved the following outstanding results:
Merrifield Junior A – placed 1st overall, with Okuhle Nwelende placed 2nd overall and Mbasa Ngqeleni, placed in the top 10.
Merrifield Senior team member, Jayda Vries, was named the best speaker overall, with Igor Karbowy, Noah Honey and Allyssa Joseph placed in the top 10.
