Merrifield College is very proud of the IEB NSC results of its 2023 Grade 12 Class. Merrifield has once again achieved a 100% pass rate and a 99% Bachelor Degree pass rate. Of the 63 students, 25% achieved A aggregates, and 68% scored aggregates above 70%. The group collectively earned 152 distinctions, averaging 2.4 distinctions per student.
Top achiever was Noah Ciganek who was placed on the IEB List of Outstanding Achievers (placed in the Top 5% nationally for 6 subjects). He scored an overall average of 91% with 9 distinctions.
Nathan Sparg was placed in the Top 1% nationally for Mathematics, scoring an overall average of 90%. Matthew Malan obtained 10 distinctions with an average of 89% and Akiera Govender scored a full house of 7 distinctions.
