Merrifield is very sad to hear of the passing of Mrs Daphne Strydom, the beloved founder and long-serving co-ordinator of our Aftercare. Fondly known as Aunty Daph to many, she was a colourful and larger than life character with such a commitment and love for her pupils. She was so caring and invested in our children, always prepared to go the extra mile and showing a happy smile in her daily work.
Aunty Daph will be remembered for her warm and generous personality, and her genuine care and affection for all the children at Merrifield.
